Description

Woody Kimbrell (as Marge) Little Lulu Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 9-13-58 (Chicago Tribune-N.Y. News Syndicate, 1958). Lulu's girly outfit tickles Tubby, but not how you expect! The signature, "Marge," refers to Lulu's original creator, Marjorie Henderson Buell, who did not work on the comic-book or comic-strip versions. Crafted in ink over graphite on DuoTone board with an image area of 19.75" x 6". There is yielding oil staining in the left and right margins as well as in the last panel, and the board itself is slightly toned. Overall, in Very Good condition. From the Ray Edw Collection.
