Jim Davis Garfield Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 4-7-81 (United Feature Syndicate, 1981). This strip, created during the transitional period between Garfield's classic design and his current look, shows the famous fat cat taking full advantage of his new bipedal stance as he tries (and fails) to give Odie the boot! Rendered in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with a 14" x 4". Slightly toned with discoloration to the Zipatone and some unerased grid lines. In Very Good condition.
