Wright captures his wife and muse in dulcet tones of blue that match the background, as if Esmé imparts to him the color that fills his life and work. Gouache on art paper with an image area of 14" x 21". A previous matting and/or framing has left pieces adhered from its removal, amounting to 1" around the top and sides and 2.5" along the bottom. Presents with amateur restoration including patched holes and paint fill-ins, abrasions, and scant spot stains. Signed and dated by Wright in the bottom right of the image area. In Good condition.
