Illusion of Gaia - Wata 9.2 A Sealed, SNES Nintendo 1994 USA. Among the standout RPGs of the 16-bit era, Illusion of Gaia stands as a shining example of the Super Nintendo's strength in the genre. Released as The Gaia Fantasy Chronicle for the Super Famicom, it united an elite creative team-director Masaya Hashimoto, designer Tomoyoshi Miyazaki, and science fiction author Mariko Ohara-renowned for their work on Soul Blazer and Terranigma. In Illusion of Gaia (known as Illusion of Time in PAL regions), players took control of Will, a brave orphan with mysterious powers, on a journey across a mythic version of Earth to prevent a global catastrophe.
