Yu-Gi-Oh! European 1st Edition Spell Ruler Sealed Booster Box (Konami, 2003). On September 16th, 2002, Konami released the second expansion set for Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic Ruler! In this set, duelists were introduced to "Toon" monster cards for the first time, including Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon, Toon Mermaid, and Toon Summoned Skull. A fun fact about this set is that after the initial release, Konami decided to change the name to Spell Ruler due to similarities to another widely-popular trading card game, Magic: The Gathering. A European English print was released on October 24th, 2003, using the new name. Offered in this lot is a 1st Edition Spell Ruler booster box from this European English release! This box contains 24 booster packs, each with 9 cards. The box has lightly blunted corners with the wrapping intact. There is a product sticker on the bottom side. The overall condition is Excellent.
