Ghosts 'n Goblins - Wata 9.8 A++ Sealed [Rev-A, Round SOQ, Later Production], NES Capcom 1986 USA. This is the highest-graded copy of this variant of Ghosts 'n Goblins out of 13 on PSA/Wata's December 2025 population report. Further, this is only our fifth time offering a sealed example of the Rev-A variant, which indicates it's from a later production run. Directed by Tokuro Fujiwara, who produced Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, which is also in this sale, this platformer was adapted from Capcom's 1985 arcade classic. This port is infamous for its sadistic difficulty, often regarded as one of the toughest challenges of the 8-bit era, but players were more than up for the task, as the game sold over 1.6 million units worldwide. For those who survived long enough to save Princess Prin Prin, defeating Astaroth not only revealed the in-game credits showing that Ayako Mori composed the Ghosts 'n Goblins music, but also unlocked the ability to play the entire game on a higher difficulty in order to experience the true final ending.
