Milton Caniff Terry and the Pirates Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 5-15-44 (News Syndicate Co. Inc., 1944). In the long history of comic strip art, Terry and the Pirates remains one of the greatest adventure strips of all time. A masterpiece of storytelling coupled with sharply delineated and bold artwork, Milton Caniff virtually redefined the adventure strip. Expert use of staging and clever dialogue give this daily titled, "Juris (im) prudence" its drama and humor. This episode has an image area that measures 21.5" x 6.5", and the art is in Excellent condition. As an added bonus its inscribed and signed to Archie cartoonist Bob Montana.
