Description:
The Art and Making of Toy Story - Signed, Limited, First Edition, with Sketch (Hyperion Press, 1995). A first edition, lenticular covered, The Art and Making of Toy Story, signed by many of the technical and creative artists (more than 15!) who participated in the making of the film. Included is a letter from John Lasseter's assistant Heather Feng (dated March 18, 1996) thanking the collector for being patient, as the book made its way through the studio. Notable signatures include the late Joe Ranft, Randy Newman (page 94) who writes "you Got a Friend in ME!", Don Rickles on the front cover, as well as many other artists throughout the book. The real prize here though is a huge sketch by John Lasseter of Buzz and Woody! Mr. Lasseter writes "To Joe, To infinity and Beyond" and signs his sketch. This would be the equivalent to Walt Disney drawing and signing a sketch in a Snow White book. Don't let this one-of-a-kind treasure pass you by. The book is in Excellent condition.
