Description

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Grinch Production Cel Signed by Chuck Jones (Warner Brothers, 1966). An original 12-field, hand-painted production cel of the Grinch looking down at poor Max the dog, hand-signed by Jones and featuring a Linda Jones Enterprises seal. This outstanding cel is placed over a rare one-of-a-kind, hand-painted background. The historic animated TV special was designed by the late Maurice Noble, and premiered on CBS on December 18, 1966, and TV Guide has ranked it as the best holiday TV Special of all time. Backgrounds from this special are considered very rare, and this one is spectacular. Letters of authenticity from Linda Jones Enterprises are included. From the Chuck Jones Collection.
