Description:

Walt Kelly - Pogo Possum #12, page 38 Original Art (Dell, 1953). Howland Owl's spoonfight victory goes awry when Churchy La Femme stumbles, and a potion bottle is launched aloft, and ends up draining down Howland's gullet. The paper measures an overall 9.5" x 11", while the image area is 8.5" x 9.5". This page shows Walt Kelly's magnificent blue under-penciling and is in Excellent condition. Walt Kelly's Dell comic book art is scarce, and so, to quote Howland, "That makes it single-nificant." -- get those bids in today, Okefenokee fans!
