Description
Harvey Kurtzman Self Portrait Illustration Original Art (undated). This one-of-a-kind lot includes a delightful pen and ink self-portrait on vellum by Mad alum Harvey Kurtzman. Also includes a partially completed self portrait by the artist as Kurtzman the Barbarian. This piece has been marked through, apparently Kurtzman decided it was a dead end. Both of these drawings were created for the San Diego Comic Con. Each piece measures approximately 6" x 9" and both are in Very Good condition.More information about Harvey Kurtzman.
