Description
Jack Davis Humbug #3 Cover Design Original Art (Humbug, 1957). While the Will Elder image in the center of this cover is actually a halftoned photostat of Elder's painting, the intricate border and logo art is all original art, drawn by Jack Davis! The logo design on the printed cover of issue #3 was different. This Davis drawn logo is similar to the one used on issue #1. This masterpiece of design has an image area of 10" x 15", and it has been matted to an overall size of 17" x 21.5".
