One of the most valuable comic books of the 1970s has one of the more memorable X-Men covers thanks to the artistry of Gil Kane and Dave Cockrum. The issue has the very first appearances of Nightcrawler, Storm, Colossus, and Thunderbird, and it's just the second full story to feature Wolverine. We've heard of other 9.8 copies of this book selling in the (very) high four figures -- that still strikes us as a relative bargain compared to Hulk #181 in the same grade, and since we don't see the popularity of the X-Men waning anytime soon, this is one to grab.
