Description

Frank Miller and Klaus Janson Batman: The Dark Knight #4 Death of the Joker page 2 Original Art (DC, 1986). "He who laughs last, laughs best." From the famed series that redefined the Batman franchise for the modern audience, here is an incredibly important page -- the death of The Gotham Guardian's number one nemesis, that dreaded, homicidal Harlequin of Hate, the Joker. Having snapped his own neck, the Joker makes his final exit -- but is anyone else laughing? This is the first page of the story, although it's numbered "2". Easily the best panel page from the series we have ever seen -- much less offered, this modern milestone has an image area of 11.5" x 11.75". Aside from four tape residue stains in the borders, the art is in Excellent condition.
