Description

Captain America Comics #1 (Timely, 1941) CGC Apparent VF 8.0 Slight (P) Off-white pages. A lovely copy of a historic issue. Jack Kirby and Joe Simon created their most iconic Golden Age character in Captain America, whose origin and first appearance are featured here. Cap's sidekick Bucky and his arch-nemesis the Red Skull also are presented for the first time, but the most memorable image of this issue is the cover by Kirby, which has Cap socking it to Adolf Hitler.
