Description
The Brave and the Bold #1 (DC, 1955) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Off-white to white pages. It's the first appearances of the classic lineup of headliners for the early issues of the title, in which so many DC superheroes and other characters debuted. The firsts in this issue were the Viking Prince, Silent Knight, and Golden Gladiator. An issue that just doesn't turn up in high grade; in fact, the grade here is the highest CGC has certified to date. Irv Novick cover, with interior art by Novick, Joe Kubert, and Russ Heath. Overstreet 2010 FN 6.0 value = $864; VF 8.0 value = $2,520. CGC census 10/10: 5 in 7.0, none higher.CGC Grader Notes:
