Description

Steve Muffatti (attributed) - Casper The Friendly Ghost #8, Complete 5-page Story, "At the South Pole" Original Art (Harvey, 1953). This charming and beautifully drawn early Casper story begs the question, "Why does a ghost need a jacket?" The Casper stories were initially drawn in a style that mirrored the highly successful animated cartoons of the time. This story features Casper just wanting to find a few friends at the South Pole. Typically, everyone is frightened and runs away from poor Casper. These pages are in great shape with almost no white-out. The image area of each page is approximately 12" x 18", and the art is in Excellent condition.
