Walt Disney Studios - The Wise Little Hen Animation Model Sheet Original Art (undated). Released on June 9, 1934, Walt Disney's "Silly Symphony," "The Wise Little Hen," was a retelling of the old children's story with Donald Duck and Peter Pig unwilling to help the Wise Little Hen with her crops. A milestone short film, featuring the debut of Donald Duck, sporting his trademark sailor suit, which he would wear throughout his career. This model sheet was created by Disney artists as a guide for the animators, and features the Hen, Peter Pig, and Donald Duck, in various poses. The art is drawn on a 9.5" x 12" sheet of paper. The pig figure was redrawn on a separate piece of paper, and then pasted over the earlier version on the sheet. Some minor aging is apparent, but overall the work is in Excellent condition.Auction Info
