Alex Schomburg - Original Cover Art, "Radio Glider Bomb" (circa 1943). Skillfully blending fact with fiction, Alex Schomburg always found a way to make his covers interesting. This piece depicts a Radio Glider Bomb, developed by the Nazis, homing in on some American battle ships. Although Hitler never succeeded in creating a bomb of this nature, there is no doubt that he tried very hard to develop one. From an unidentified aviation magazine, the image area on this piece measures approximately 16" by 22"; this large cover is framed and matted, and would make a great addition to any living room, den, bedroom or office.More information about Alex Schomburg.
