Description

Junior Justice Society of America Kit (DC, 1945). This Junior justice Society of America kit contains an original envelope (with the address label neatly removed), membership certificate (with the name and address pencilled in), decoder wheel (with name and address pencilled in), Junior Society badge, and induction letter. The decoder wheel is especially cool as one selects a DC character through a window on the back side then flips the wheel over and reads the translation from a mix of letters and Greek letters. Also included in this kit is a four page comic, a copy of a radio address by M.C. Gaines entitled "Youth and the War Effort" (with the owner's name and address lightly pencilled on the front of the pamphlet) and a 10 cent stamp album used for the purchase of U.S. war savings bonds. The four-page comic by M. C. Gaines is entitled "The Minute Man Answers the Call" and describes the history of the Minute Men from 1775 to 1945 in brilliant four color glory. The overall condition of the various items ranges from GD to VG.
