Kid Komics #10 (Timely, 1945) CGC VF 8.0 Cream to off-white pages. The Young Allies make their last stand in this issue, which would change to Kid Movie Komics with #11, starring Ziggy Pig. Alex Schomburg contributes a typically rousing cover illustration, showing the boys busy bashing in the skulls of a few bad guys who dared to hold up an armored car on their watch! Ouch! With crimefighters like these, no wonder the world was safe for funny animals next time out. This copy looks pretty sharp, with smooth, flat surfaces and vivid cover colors. Overstreet 2005 VF 8.0 value = $531. CGC census 6/05: 1 in 8.0, none higher.
