Description
Crime Does Not Pay #23 Mile High pedigree (Lev Gleason, 1942) Condition: VF/NM. This is the third most-valuable crime comic according to Overstreet, and it's called "scarce" by the Guide. It's just the second issue of the title that started an entire genre. Big names in lawbreaking like John Dillinger and Pancho Villa are featured in the stories. This isn't a book you can usually find in high grade, but this one's got a great cover and fresh pages. Overstreet 2006 VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,335; NM- 9.2 value = $1,825. From the John McLaughlin Collection.More information about Crime Does Not Pay, and Crime Does Not Pay #23 Comic Title.
