Air Pirates Funnies #1 & #2 (Hell Comics Group, 1972) Condition: NM-. A set of some of the most controversial comics of all time. The "Air Pirates", Dan O'Neill, Bobby London, Gary Halgren, and Shary Flenniken, were sued by Disney for portraying their most beloved characters in the most human ways. After years of fighting, the pirates won and many of the parody laws we have today were established. The two issues of this groundbreaking title are nearly perfect, only minor touches at the top and bottom of the spines keep these books from grading higher.
