Weird Tales August 1928 (Popular Fiction, 1928) Condition: VG. This key issue features "Red Shadows," the first appearance of Robert E. Howard's fighting puritan, Solomon Kane, as well as "The Vengeance of Nitocris," the first published work of Tennessee Williams (writing as "Thomas L. Williams"). A stunning Julius Schwartz copy, with a bright red cover and spine (both of which are complete and largely unmarred), some chipping to the right-hand corners, and supple, cream-colored pages.
