Description

George McManus - Bringing Up Father Sunday Comic Strip with Rosie's Beau Topper Original Art (King Features Syndicate, 1944). Life is worth loafin' through, according to Jiggs, as he recounts memories of bygone days in a jocular jaunt down memory lane. More autobiographical than he might care to mention, McManus' twelve panels read like a scrapbook of riotous reminiscences that sparkle with wit. Don't miss all the hysterical supporting characters from McManus' masterful mind and steady drawing hand. Also included is a companion page topper of Rosie's Beau; Archie has something important to tell Rosie, but wastes all his call time mumbling sweet nothings! The art measures 17" x 21" and is in Excellent condition. The art is two pieces which have been mounted together between the third and fourth tiers.
