Description

Neal Adams - Batman #231 Cover Original Art (DC, 1971). "Ten-Eyed" Reardon let's his fingers do the watching as he sets his sights on Batman, in this bizarre cover illustration by Neal Adams. After a freak accident, former night watchman Reardon had a rogue doctor re-route his optic nerves to the sensory cells of his fingertips, giving him the awe-inspiring cognomen of "The Ten-Eyed Man," the man who saw with his fingers! Neal Adams pencils this "eye-catching" cover illustration, which has an image area of 10" x 15," and is in Excellent condition. This piece of cover art is notable for Adams' extremely tight pencils, which did not require inking -- this IS the final cover artwork that the published art was shot from! Includes all the original logo and title type paste-ups.
