Marvel Mystery Comics #3 Larson pedigree (Timely, 1940) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages. The Larson copy just happens to be the highest-graded CGC-certified copy among the handful of unrestored copies of this early Timely issue. The genius of Alex Schomburg was already present on this mesmerizing cover, and inside Bill Everett, Carl Burgos, and Paul Gustavson rendered their classic Sub-Mariner, Human Torch, and Angel respectively. While this remarkable book has CGC's blue Universal Grade label, CGC does note, "Very minor amount of glue on spine of cover." This is a most attractive copy of a Gerber "uncommon" book.
