Description

Master Comics #22 (Fawcett, 1942) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white pages. Mac Raboy rendered this first Captain Marvel Jr. cover, and managed to work in a bondaged damsel, and a Bulletman fight scene with Captain Nazi at the same time. The junior Cap moved from Whiz Comics with this issue, setting up shop as Master's headliner for the next decade. Raboy's classy, distinctive art makes many Fawcett Golden Age books very desirable to collectors, and this copy is one of the highest-graded that CGC has certified of issue #22. Overstreet 2005 VF 8.0 value = $3,164; VF/NM 9.0 value = $5,082. CGC census 5/05: 1 in 8.5, 2 higher.
