Description

Justin Gray - Monolith Sketch (2004).
Justin Gray presents a portrait of the Monolith, the character he co-created with Jimmy Palmiotti. Jimmy has said of the character's powers, "The Monolith's connection to the city doesn't come in the form of telepathic control of organic material. He's made from the same materials as the island and therefore can feel everything in the city -- every apartment, alley, skyscraper, you name it he is a sort of surveillance system peeking into the lives of every citizen in Manhattan." Justin's pencil sketch of the living embodiment of New York city measures an overall 14" x 12.25".
