Dick Ayers - Sgt. Fury Sketch Original Art (2004).Wah-hoo, it's Sgt. Fury of Howling Commando fame, coming at you! Dick Ayers was the head Howler's main artist for most of the title's lengthy run. Before that, Dick worked on Funnyman, and the original Western Ghost Rider at ME. Dick also drew more swingin' sixties Marvel features than you can bag and board, such fan favorites as the Human Torch, Giant Man, Two Gun Kid, Captain Savage, and on, and on. Dick's drawing of Sgt. Fury measures an overall 7.25" x 10.5", and is rendered in ink and colored pencil. A stirring salute to Dave Cockrum from Dick Ayers!
