Description
Roger Rabbit Cel and Matching Drawing from "Tummy Trouble" (Buena Vista, 1989). Star of the 1988 hit film, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", this long-suffering bunny (married to the stunningly beautiful Jessica, who's "not bad, [she's] just drawn that way"), finds himself in a heap of trouble once again. After Baby Herman swallows a rattle, Roger rushes him to the hospital, and the wackiness begins. Offered here is a beautiful hand-painted animation cel, paired with its matching drawing, featuring the luckless Roger strapped to a gurney. Bold and colorful, this is an actual production cel that was used in the creation of "Tummy Trouble", a Roger Rabbit short created shortly after the release of the blockbuster motion picture. Cels with matching drawings are quite prized by collectors, as they show the full range of the animation process. The image area of these pieces is approximately 14.5" x 10.5", and both are in excellent condition. The cel is pristine, and displays no paint chipping or flaking, and the drawing, rendered in black and blue pencil, displays numerous animator's markings, indicating color and providing instructions to the inker.
