March of Comics #4 Donald Duck (K. K. Publications, Inc., 1947) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. This is the only copy graded above 7.0 by CGC to date! We dare say we weren't the only ones who thought this comic's fragile newsprint cover precluded a NM+ copy from existing. We're certainly glad to be proven wrong. This has always been one of the most expensive and most sought-after Carl Barks Donald Duck books. "Maharajah Donald" is the story. Most copies of this promotional have an ad for a local store printed on the back cover; this one's for Arrow's Shoes in South Chicago. Overstreet 2009 NM- 9.2 value = $12,000.
