From the very beginning, Ed Jaster seemed destined for the art business. His parents met while attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in the 1940s. Later, Ed would also attend The School of the Art Institute of Chicago himself. For twenty years Ed owned and operated his own commercial art firm in Chicago. It was during those years, Ed acquired, traded, and sold world-class collections of American Photography, Illustration Art, and Vintage Comic Books.

During the 1990s, Ed segued into dealing in collectibles and original artwork full-time. Quickly he became one of the most experienced, trusted, and well-known comics and original art dealers in America. Ed joined Heritage and moved to Dallas in early 2002. Ed's client list (now part of Heritage's) is almost as legendary as his knowledge of collectibles and art. He has bought and sold numerous six-figure American and European paintings, iconic vintage photography, complete runs of Mile High comic books, rare toys, classic movie posters, historic memorabilia, and important first edition rare books. Ed is a Senior Overstreet Advisor, has won several CBG Customer Service Awards, and served as an AACC Grading and Certification panelist for Christie's auctions in 1994 and 1995.

In 2005 Ed was promoted to the position of Vice President, Heritage Auction Galleries. He remains the department head for vintage comic books and original art, as well as in-house specialist for Illustration Art and American Paintings. Ed lives in Richardson, Texas (a suburb of Dallas) with his wife, Pamela, and daughter, Madeleine.

Lon attended Truman State University from 1991-1995, and, while there, turned his love of comics into a part-time business. His successful part-time business became an even more successful full-time business when he started J.L.A. Comics in 2000. In 2002, Lon joined Heritage Comics as Auction Coordinator, and was promoted to Director of Sales in 2005. He is an advisor to both the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide and to GPAnalysis.com, and is a confirmed fan of both the Atlanta Braves and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Greg Holman has been a comic fan since 1972, when he purchased a copy of Amazing Spider-Man #113 (a copy he still owns and cherishes). Greg's artistic bent is only natural, as his father, George, is a well-known artist and designer. After attending Southwest Texas State University and serving a tour in the Dallas art gallery community, Greg turned his love of comics into a full-time career, learning the ins and outs of selling comics from one of the largest comic dealers in the Southwest. He has done radio and television interviews on the subject of comic books and has been a panelist at many conventions. When the comics industry crashed in the 1990s, Greg went into the IT field, and now returns to his original passion for comics by joining Heritage. Greg is a serious hockey fan, an award-winning cook, and a musician in his spare time, and as you'd expect from a Heritage employee, he still enjoys collecting comics and many other things as well.

Tom's personal collection of Disney-created World War II art for combat units is the largest and most important collection of its kind in the world. Portions of his collection has been loaned to major museum shows over the years, and he was the only collector represented in the "Donald Pins on Wings" show at the Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson AFB in 2005.

By the time Jim was nine years old, he already had growing collections of comic books, records (you know, that precursor of the music CD), sports cards, stamps, and coins. By age 16 he was a radio DJ. Later, his years at San Bernardino Valley College studying Pre-Med, English, and Music included stints in three rock bands.

Even after Jim settled into the 'real' world of life and health insurance claims, he found time to attend collectibles shows as a dealer, set up at local flea markets, and own his own bookstore. When the fledgling Heritage Comic Auctions presented the opportunity to work full-time in an environment that allowed his indulging his lifelong collectible interests with his practical experience in writing and marketing, Jim jumped at the chance. His primary responsibilities are in the production of catalogs for the Comics and Entertainment Memorabilia auctions, but he also assists in the marketing of and in bringing in consignments for both venues.
