Betty Boop Cartoon Story Synopsis Group (Fleischer Studios, circa 1939). Typed pages (some with sketches) of story ideas for a Betty Boop cartoon with the working title "Tobacco Roadhouse", which was released under the name "Musical Mountaineers". Head animator Tom Johnson is listed on most of the thirteen pages (including several carbon copies). Also included are three pages for a Gabby cartoon, and two unrelated pen and ink illustrations featuring "Ruffy Fox"; these measure approximately 6" x 6.25". Items range from Good to Excellent; a few pages have some staining.

A letter concerning the silent comedy short, "You'd Be Surprised", typed on a letterhead advertising the 15-chapter serial, "Adventures of Tarzan" starring Elmo Lincoln, the screen's first Tarzan. This was the first of five early serials, originally released in 1921. The letter is in Excellent condition, with only minor folds and edgewear. particularly along the top right corner.
