Heritage appoints Tiffany Dubin as Director of Business Development, extending commitment to New York City
Manhattan gallery scheduled to open on Park Avenue in September 2010
NEW YORK
CITY -- Heritage Auction Galleries (HA.com) has appointed Tiffany Dubin as the
Director of Business Development in New York. The move is in preparation for Heritage to open its New York
location at 445 Park Ave., currently scheduled for September of this year.
Ms. Dubin joins Heritage with a wealth of experience. Most recently she held a position at Tepper Galleries in New York where she spearheaded several single owner sales. These sales included a concentration of property in Fine and Decorative Arts, areas in which Ms. Dubin has both a great deal of experience and a comprehensive knowledge. Prior to Tepper she founded the fashion department at Sotheby’s and created Tiffany Dubin’s Lair, a “store within a store,” at Henri Bendel.
“We’re both fortunate and thrilled to have added Tiffany to our team” said Greg Rohan, President of Heritage. “Her vast experience in the auction business and in New York City, in combination with her deep knowledge of Fine and Decorative Arts, makes her a powerful force for Heritage in the New York marketplace.”
“I’m very much looking forward to helping Heritage establish itself as an even more important player than it is now in the New York City auction market,” said Dubin. “Heritage is dynamic, exciting and is consistently setting higher standards in many categories, making it an ever-growing force in the marketplace. Along with this, I’m committed to raising the profile of our appraisal capabilities as a core component of our business in New York. Heritage’s sheer scale allows it to add value in categories that our competitors would never consider and the company is serious about its commitment to New York City. I share that determination to make Heritage the gold standard in our market.”
Dubin is a respected author and editor, having contributed her work to many publications and books over the last two decades. She graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in International Relations.
