Description:
Boy Comics #10 (Lev Gleason, 1943) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Off-white to white pages. "Classic cover" says Overstreet about this Charles Biro effort. The issue marked Iron Jaw's return in grand style (you can't keep a bad man down -- he was only dead for one issue, namely #9, and Comic House put him on the cover of that issue anyway!). And the black cover is probably why no high-grade copies have been certified -- the only one graded higher than this copy is just a half-notch above at 5.5. Overstreet 2006 VG 4.0 value = $244; FN 6.0 value = $366. CGC census 1/06: 1 in 5.0, 1 higher. From the Collection of Harold Curtis.
