Don Sherwood - Return With Us To... Comic Strip Original Art, Group of 60 (Copley News Service, 1983-85). In 1975, Don Sherwood teamed up with ABC Network's Bill Owen to create the syndicated newspaper panel Return With Us To.... The feature spotlighted a warm nostalgia for radio programs, and also pop culture and historical personages. Among the subjects included in this massive group lot are Ernie Pyle, "the Hardy Family," Fred Waring, "Singing Sam," "Mayor of the Town," "The Big Story," Charles Lindberg, and many, many others. The image area of most of the strips is 12" x 18", although a few are smaller. Each of the strips is in Excellent condition.Auction Info
