"I wanted to give some formal kudos to Mr. Brian Weidman and let anyone who might be considering HA (especially my #IGcomicfam) know about the overwhelmingly positive experiences I've had working with him. As I implied, I met Brian on Instagram. We got to chatting about one of his posts (or maybe it was one of mine) and while we didn't start working together right away, we did continue to discuss different possible books I might bring to auction...I never felt pressured, it was just two comic enthusiasts having a chat and when I did find the right set of books to test the waters with, I gave it a go. All of the books from that auction landed at or above our predictions and it was this trial run that gave me the confidence to entrust Brian with my precious collection of Batman 1 to 11...Now this is where the rubber really met the road so to speak. We approached the auction strategy as a team and while Brian had his ideas and we ultimately were on the same page, I never felt at anypoint that his opinions superseded mine or that any of the moves we made weren't the best possible moves we could. We were a team, but I was the boss. Now with any good story, there has to be a little drama...The package with my Batman 1 went missing...The most important package that I've ever mailed and it went unaccounted for (and I should point out, it wasn't lost at HA)...To say I was anxious was an understatement, but not only did Brian entertain my daily phone calls, instagram messages and emails. I witnessed as he called and emailed day in and day out until that important package was safely returned. He stepped up when I needed him to, he was relentless and he had my back. So long story short, the Batman 1 - 11 did awesome at auction, I used that money to pay off my house (what a hobby!) and I couldn't and wouldn't have done it without Brian."
